Air Force Academy Foundation Announces Four New Board Directors

Four U.S. Air Force Academy graduates have joined the Air Force Academy Foundation board of directors. The board is the governing body of the Air Force Academy Foundation, a nonprofit that supports the Academy through philanthropy.

The four new board directors are Louis Bremer of Dallas, Texas; Paul Capon of New York, New York; Brad Meissen of Evanston, Illinois; and Patrick Nesbitt of Carpinteria, California.

Crawford Thompson

We are excited to announce that Crawford Thompson has joined the private equity team at Windage Partners as an Associate. Prior to Windage, Crawford previously held positions at CH Investment Partners and Oliver Wyman. Crawford received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. A native of Dallas, Texas, Crawford is based out of our headquarters in Dallas. Welcome to the team, Crawford!

Darryl Smith

We are excited to announce that Darryl Smith has joined the private equity team at Windage as an Operating Partner. Darryl brings over 25 years of experience in private equity operations and management consulting, most recently holding Operating Partner positions at Pacific Avenue Capital Partners and Skyview Capital. Prior to building a career in private equity, Darryl served for six years as a United States Marine and combat infantry officer during the Gulf War. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Darryl and Operating Partner Bradley Hansell will co-lead the operations and strategy function at Windage, combing best-in-class experience in corporate carve-outs and restructurings, portfolio company operations, and value creation with highly differentiated strategy and ADGS domain expertise. A native of Los Angeles, California, Darryl is based out of our headquarters in Dallas. Welcome to the team, Darryl!
